The Rohloff equipped Make Shift Series

The 'Make Shift' series from Rodriguez Bicycles.

Until recently, we offered Rohloff equipped bikes only by custom order. Well, we've seen a growing demand for these bikes, and we've developed some unique features that make them very attractive to a lot of people who travel and tour with their bicycles. For 2010, we've come up with a few models of bicycles that will be equipped with the Rohloff rear hub as a standard feature. Two of them are heavy duty commuter/touring bikes like our UTB, and one tandem.

So you want a hand crafted, American made tandem at an great price? The Rodriguez Toucan is the answer. This year we've brought the prices down considerably.

The Rodriguez Toucan is hand-built tandem frame without a lot of frills (you'll still get our famous bottle opener though). You can choose from 700c or 26" hand built wheels. When you test ride this bike it will feel more responsive, and more comfortable than most of the more expensive tandems on the market today. Rodriguez Adventure Travel Version

The 8-Ball is a Rodriguez exclusive! It's a travel bike and a travel tandem all in one bike. The entire thing will break down easily to fit into a 26" by 26" flight case.

This is the bike that Willie Weir and his wife Kat used to tour Cuba. Over the last few years, we've built several of these bikes. Everyone who has one loves it.
