Have a drink on us! The Rodriguez bottle opener is an exclusive touch of class that you'll only find on a Rodriguez. This stainless steel accessory comes standard on all of our Rodriguez tandems. It is brazed onto the seat stay. A great all travel tandem for an incredible price! Rodriguez tandem frames are known for their comfortable ride and easy handling. We build the rear 'cockpit' generously long (76cm) so the stoker has some breathing room between themselves and the captain. All of the Toucan tandems come with our Rodriguez Super Adjustable Stoker stem, so that the bike can be adjusted to fit you, or anyone else. The Toucan Travel utilizes S&S couplings to allow you to take the bike apart and easily fit it into a suitcase for traveling. We have sold hundreds of bikes with couplings over the past 10 years. Lots of our customers have written great letters that you can read if you'd like. 4 stock color options make our 2007 tandem line up more fun than ever! The Rodriguez Tandems come with either 26" wheels or 700c wheels in the medium and large sizes. The Small size comes with 26" wheels only. All the specifications are listed at the bottom of this page. The Toucan Travel version will fit into a 26" X 26" X 14" case for traveling on airlines. Most people opt to use 2 of the smaller 26" X 26" X 10" cases for easier packing. Another benefit to the smaller cases is that they will not be considered 'oversized' by the airlines. Rohloff Speedhub This year, we've added a Rohloff drive version of the Toucan tandem. We've developed a clean way of incorporating this unique design into a versatile tandem bike.
