What makes a bike 'Custom'? There are different definitions of custom depending on what manufacturer you are working with.

Our Custom
At Rodriguez, we started out as a true custom builder. Every bike was built one at a time, and the parts were all selected that way as well. The final result was truly unique in just about every way. When we create a Rodriguez or Trillium custom bike, you will work directly with us over a period of time. You will be involved as much or as little as you like in frame design, parts selection, frame materials, frame construction, paint design and decal design.

In my mind, a custom bike has no limits, so there's really no reason to put any specifications here. What I can do is show you some of the custom creations that we've created over the last few years.

TrilliumCycles.com is the site that we use to showcase some of the custom bicycles that we've created in the last few years. I think a visit there will show you what we can do if you are in the market for a true custom bike.

Their Custom
A lot of other manufacturers consider a custom bike one that they built a different size, or painted a different color than their standard. If it's custom size or custom paint that makes a bike custom, then every bicycle we offer is a custom. As you look through our catalog and web site, keep in mind that every single bike we make is built by hand, one at a time. If you need or want a custom size or custom paint, we simply add a small up-charge and make it that way. We don't consider this custom.
